Hi all, last week upgraded to Win 10 and after all the programs have loaded the touchpad stops working. The only way around the screen is by using the keyboard.very difficult! When I eventually navigated to the settings menu and into the touchpad/mouse menu I saw that the touchpad was disabled.so I enabled it and the cursor worked again but not any gestures. If I put the laptop to sleep and then reopen the lid the cursor was still working but when I restarted the laptop the touchpad again was disabled. I have tried the many suggestions on this site but none have been successful so far i.e.

Uninstalling drivers and restarting computer etc, downloading updated software from the Asus site and installing it.non are working for me. I do not have a USB mouse so cannot try too many suggestions as it almost impossible to move the cursor to where I want it. To this end I have gone back to Win 7 and surprise,surprise it all works again.
This clearly is a big problem for me and for a great many other people judging by the amount of questions on this site asking the same/similar questions.when will this be sorted please? Regards Adrian ps It seems the software on startup thinks it is a tablet therefore disabling the touchpad input???, just a thought.
