So, I'm currently working on a long-term project that is a Monday Night Wars era patch, replacing everyone and everything possible to convert my game to a late 90's WCW & WWF theme. This is for 2K16, though I'm hoping all my current work ports over to 2K17 as I'm looking to finish the project up on that game if all works well. In the mean time, in this thread, I'll be uploading some stuff as I go - expect WCW & WWF Attitude era wrestler and attire mods, as well as some themes, custom renders, trons and other goodies here and there.I highly recommend backing up your files before installing my mods over them - you are solely responsible for any issues caused with your game or computer by your installation of these mods (oh, I'm so stern!).

This attire is from the July 16th episode of Nitro.MENG - Alt attire for HakuWanted the hair a little lighter and less shiny on this one, but every time I tweaked the alpha layer in the normals it made them not show up in the game and when I lightened the hair it started looking thinner and thinner and I tried a bunch of stuff that just wasn't working. So I figured, it looked the best it's looked as it was last time I backed up, so I reverted back to that for this release.

I wasn't happy with the head on the first version, as 2K had been really lazy in scanning Taker's head and then practically placing his baggy old face on 20 year old attires, but I didn't wanna lose the facial animations so I left it. With this update, I've used his model from 2K15 which looks much younger, transferred everything onto that, worked on the face normals a bit and now I think he looks much more accurate for the era this attire was from without losing the face animationsDennis-Bieser created a retro Undertaker attire pack and I've been making room in my roster to cover Undertaker's WrestleMania 11-14 attires so his pre-Ministry era of the Attitude era is also covered. Dennis created on WrestleMania 11-13 (among other attires from earlier eras), so I still needed 14 and it was basically just swapping hair files and textures around (before the model update).

You can see in the video that I've renamed the Superstars and Downloaded Superstars rosters to WWF and WCW and I'm moving wrestlers from roster to roster via pofo files - I'm aiming to have 60 wrestlers on each roster (though some of them will be duplicates, for example Nation of Domination The Rock and '00 The Rock). Not bad for the first try, but i think the face looks too old.he looked much younger in his wcw time.maybe you can take that as referenceThe nWo Logo must be bigger.but nice startThanks man, yeah I've been attire modding for like 3 days haha so doing face retextures is a bit beyond me yet and restructuring his face to be thinner is WAY beyond me (plus I'd rather not lose the animations just to make him a bit thinner) so this was just an attire mod really, maybe I'll give this a revisit in the future.
The shirt I was basing off of a different top altogether although in hindsight maybe the logo could be just a bit bigger, truth be told I've been screwing around with the shirt for the last 3 days learning how to do things and it got to a point that it was getting worse and worse the more I tweaked it so I drew the line at what you see here. But yeah for sure, when I'm at my PC next I'll put up the render pach files so people can either inject them with Cheat Engine into Kalisto or use X-Packer to extract the pac files and inject them into someone else if they wish. I'll upload the announce sounds as well for both. Before that I was just aimlessly installing a bunch of WCW guys and was sort of feeling like maybe I shouldn't be replacing the current roster as it just feels weird even though I don't use any of them.
I'd given thought to maybe making a WCW mod but I knew I wasn't gonna squeeze 100+ WCW wrestlers out of that one Then that mod came along and a lightbulb just went off and my modding had a purpose.
